Silly Sunday – (part 2) Things A Jewish Mother Would Never Say
More Things A Jewish Mother Would Never Say (this is part 2)
“Just live with him… you don’t have to marry him… I don’t need any grandchildren.”
“Be good and for your birthday I’ll buy you a motorcycle!”
“How on earth can you see the TV sitting so far back?”
“Don’t bother wearing a jacket — it’s quite warm out.”
“Let me smell that shirt — yeah, it’s good for another week.”
“I think a cluttered bedroom is a sign of creativity.”
“Yeah, I used to skip school too.”
“Just leave all the lights on…it makes the house more cheery.”
“Could you turn the music up louder, so I can enjoy it too?”
“Run and bring me the scissors! Hurry!”
Added last week from Julie at Empty Nest Insider
“Just lay all over the hotel bedspread. A little fecal matter won’t hurt you!”

We Jewish moms get such a hard reputation. Of course I won’t be buying my girls a motorcycle anytime soon.
Thanks for linking up and I love you Hawaii joke – Anyone reading this comment, go and read it now.
“Could you turn up the music so I could enjoy it too?” is my favorite. Thanks for posting mine, but I still say yours are better!

Aww, thanks Julie. I think they are all pretty funny, and spot on.
My Jewish mom used to always get all over me for sitting too close to the TV. “You’ll ruin your eyes.”

And, how are your eyes now? I need glasses for reading and different ones for driving – so maybe mom was right – either that or it’s just age.
Thanks for linking up!
Yeah I want that music turned up too. Bwahahahahahah. Good ones.
Have a terrific Silly Sunday.
